Residential Team provides intensive residential support to address the needs of individuals who may require frequent yet varying degrees of in-home support during the transition from assisted living to independent living in the community. Our participants have experienced chronic or multiple episodes of severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use, and often homelessness. A high degree of collaboration is critical for the team to successfully eliminate participants' barriers to service. Services are provided in participants' home and community at least 75% of the time.
Team scheduling will span 10 hours/day M-Sat, and 8 hours/day on weekends & holidays. All staff will routinely work at least one weekend day in their standard schedule and rotate holiday shifts. Team members also participate in on-call rotation to provide 24-hour crisis coverage.
F/T position providing community-based support services to adults that experience mental illness and are in the transition from assisted to independent living. Flexible hours to include evenings and weekends. Primary duties include contributing to assessment & service planning, individual & group skill building, crisis management, rehab services & other support services. Knowledge of group dynamics and commitment to client centered work; experience with groups including planning, teaching, and co-leadership responsibilities. Ability to work as part of a fast-paced, highly structured, collaborative and multidisciplinary team. Team members share roles and responsibility for clients, as needed to provide ongoing support.
BA/BS degree preferred in SW, Psych or related field with some work experience OR 5 years relevant work experience may be substituted for education OR education & relevant work experience equivalent to 5 years may be considered. Substance abuse treatment experience preferred. Computer skills required. Personal transportation with clean driving record & insurance mandatory. Salary range is $19.35 to $25.04 per hour with full benefits including generous time off, 401(k), and health insurance. Position open until filled.
