This is a full-time position under the supervision of the Vocational Program Manager. This position aids with vocational services for clients served by Anchorage Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) and other agencies contracting with ACMHS.
Job duties include developing work-ready skills with clients, developing individualized vocational case plans, securing/supporting relationships with employers, vocational rehabilitation staff and other employment services; reporting employment performance issues; providing program marketing; completing clinical documentation for case management services and skill development and ensuring fidelity standards for a Supported Employment program and Individual Placement and Support Model.
Applicant must be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, work independently, work with special needs populations and have ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, other agencies and the public.
This position requires a BA/BS degree preferably in a vocational or a human services field. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in vocational or mental health may be substituted for the degree. Applicants already Community Rehabilitation Providers (CRP) with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation are a plus.
Proficient computer skills are required. Personal transportation requires a clean 5-year driving history.
Pay range is $19.35 to $25.04 per hour and includes excellent benefits. Two health insurance options are available along with a Health Savings account or a Flexible spending account. The Company provides generous paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with Company match.
